Department of Civil Engineering Quality Improvement Strategies in Education
Aim 1

1. Keeping the undergraduate education program up-to-date in accordance with contemporary and developing technology

2. Keeping the course content in line with the developing technology and up-to-date

3. Emphasizing computer-aided and research-oriented education in undergraduate and graduate courses

4. Giving students theoretical and experimental modelling skills by giving them graduation projects based on laboratory studies.

5. Assigning tasks to senior students in applied projects

Aim 2

1. Developing the infrastructure of the department for physical and research activities

2. Development of physical and functional facilities of department spaces and classrooms

3. Establishment of adequately equipped computer laboratories

4. Updating the experimental setups used for research and education purposes in laboratories and establishing new research projects resources

2. Developing relations with alumni, conducting information and promotional activities about our department, and developing job opportunities for graduates

3. Carrying out joint, applied projects with industry and developing projects that produce technology

4. Developing cooperation by strengthening communication with universities abroad, providing faculty and student exchanges with these universities

5. Organizing in-service training activities, professional meetings, seminars, technical trips and social activities in order to increase the professional knowledge of the students and their communication with the department.

6. Encouraging and supporting international scientific publications, events and interdisciplinary studies, strengthening the R&D infrastructure
