Graduation Requirements

ADAPTATION PRINCIPLES DETERMINED DUE TO THE 2018-2019 ACADEMIC YEAR CURRICULUM UPDATE

Within the scope of the curriculum update made in the 2018-2019 academic year, the adjustment rules to which our students enrolled in the 30% English and 100% English programs will be subject are determined as follows in accordance with the Gazi University Education and Examination Regulations:

- Students registered in the fall semester of the 2016-2017 academic year or later must complete 240 ECTS in order to graduate. Students who cannot complete 240 ECTS due to the curriculum change will complete their credits by taking additional elective courses.

- Students registered before the fall semester of the 2016-2017 academic year will be able to graduate according to their local graduation credits. Students who will be missing their local graduation credits due to the curriculum change will complete their credits by taking additional elective courses. However, those who cannot complete 240 ECTS among these students cannot be given a diploma supplement. Students who want to receive a diploma supplement must complete their credits by taking additional elective courses.

- Due to the curriculum change that has been effective since the fall semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, our students are responsible for the new curriculum of the classes they are subject to as of the 2018-2019 academic year. Students whose lower courses are left are responsible for the said courses as in the new curriculum.

- The list of elective courses that our students in the 30% English program are required to take for graduation according to the academic year in which they registered for their first year (excluding preparatory) is given in the table below. Our students enrolled in the 100% English program will take all their courses in English in accordance with the academic year and the number of courses in the table below.
