MSc with Thesis – New Curriculum

1. Master's program with thesis; It consists of a course and a seminar course covering scientific research techniques, research and publication ethics, at least nine courses including the thesis preparation course, and at least 120 credits together with the thesis study courses, provided that it is not less than 60 credits. (Gazi University Postgraduate Education and Examination Regulation Article 18/2)
2. The student must take the SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH METHODS AND ETHICS and ANALYTICAL METHODS IN CIVIL ENGINEERING courses as required by the decision taken by the Civil Engineering Department.
3. Apart from these, the student should follow the THESIS MASTER'S PROGRAM FLOW CHART on the website of the Graduate School of Science.
 

PhD – New Curriculum

1. For students who have been accepted to a doctoral program with a master's degree, one academic term should not be less than 60 credits; A course on scientific research techniques, research and publication ethics, a seminar course, at least nine courses including the thesis preparation course, at least 15 courses from at least 240 credits, including the proficiency exam and thesis work, for students who have been accepted with a bachelor's degree, It consists of at least 300 credits, including the proficiency exam, thesis preparation course and thesis work. (Gazi University Postgraduate Education and Examination Regulation Article 28/2)
2. The student must take the SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH METHODS AND ETHICS and NUMERICAL METHODS IN CIVIL ENGINEERING courses as required by the decision taken by the Civil Engineering Department.
3. Apart from these, the student should follow the DOCTORAL PROGRAM FLOW CHART on the website of the Graduate School of Science.
