Laboratory space: Total area 400 m2 including, humidity room (20 m2). 3 triaxial compression units for accurate tests on soil samples, up to 5 cm in diameter with data logger attachments. 2 unconfined compression test machines. 2 shear box machines, 2 with residual testing attachments. 10 consolidation test machines fortesting of soil samples up to 10 cm in diameter. Constant and Falling head permeameters. Laboratory vane shear apparatus. Laboratory and field equipment for the index properties and compaction characteristics of cohesive and granular soils. Equipment for laboratory and field CBR tests. Pressuremeter test apparatus. Plate loading test equipment.
